HOLA AMIGOS!
HOLA AMIGOS!
I´m sitting here in Pastor Earl´s house with Lidia, after a wonderful breakfast. Lidia says "HOLA!"/"hi." :) hahahaha. thanks Lidia! We are having an awesome time here. The plane rides all went very smooth and we had no complications, so thank you for the safe travel prayers. It hasn´t been too hot here lately, thankfully. However, two members of our team, Kristi and Jessica, have been really sick. Please pray for their healing, they would much rather be hanging out with the kids, the stuck in side sleeping all day. It was wonderful being able to see the older girls again and a girl from the other team, Abby Middleton, who went to Stone Bridge, and I got to clean with the older girls yesterday. It was amazing. They mocked us, for quite a while and questioned if we had ever cleaned before back in the United States. It was some what embarrassing, but a great experience. The newbies on the team, have been rocking my socks...though I haven´t worn any since we left...or shoes...I kinda lost them last night...but it´s okay. I can do without them. They have blown my mind and already seem like they´ve been here before. It´s awesome to be able to finally share this with one of my siblings, and to see her truly take in something that I love and hold so dear to my heart. Lots of pictures have been taken and I cannot wait to share it all with you. James´ says HOLA!!!! Everyone is just having a great time. We wish everyone could be here, Lidia says ¨sorry....sorry.¨hahaha. Oh gosh, she makes me laugh. Especially when I lead her to Christ, through my evangcube. Don´t worry...there will be picture up later. hahahaha. Oh boy. Well Church starts in about half an hour...and I have to find my shoes still....or I can´t really go...Sooo. I love you all and will try tomorrow or tonight to update more and tell everyone about the amazing things God is doing. Please keep us in your prayers and continue to rock this place. We had some amazing sermons yesterday by Todd and I think it really captured the attention of the youth here. I cannot wait to just continue watching things happen here. God is moving. Just keep it in your prayers. Love everyone, so much. Lidia says ¨Hasta Luego!¨( yes. I spelled that on my own. Be proud. (well...with a little help...) ) BYE EVERYONE! LOVE YOU ALL! ADIOS.

The night before
Hey Everyone!
So Hillary suggested to me, since I'll have my itouch down there, to keep a blog and let everyone know what's going on, through my eyes. I wish all of you could be down there with me, and those that have never gone and are joining in, I pray one day you get to experience the love I am about to receive. Hopefully it works while I'm down there and I'll try to update at least twice a day, but you know how it goes with the Nicaway. :)

Here are just some things that God has put on my heart for this trip:
1) IT'S GONNA BE BIG. Whatever it is. God has something huge planned going on down there and whether it's bringing another follower to Christ or rebuilding his church. It's gonnna be awesome and so unbelievable. I've heard it from a few other people going down this year, so look forward to it and keep praying about it.
2) These kids have touched so many lives. They truly represent Christ in the flesh and I can only hope and pray to act and let that kind of light shine when I return.
3) There is so much more we have to learn and so much we need to be thankful for.
4) Paul writes in Phil 1:2-3 about having grace and peace while being away from him. Where ever you are, serving is serving and you are doing HIS work. Whether you are in Nicaragua or not, remember: keep living His word out loud.
Thank you everyone! I love you and will see you when I return.
Soida,
Shann
